I'm concidering bring a 3 month Interrail Global Pass due to the generous campaign. If I buy it now, I dont need to start my pass right away, do I?

No, only when you know-for 123%, that you WILL travel that day. Whithin 11 mointhes after sale-date. DO use the current 50% discoun for 50 yrs InterRail!!
