Hi
Are there any discount for ferrys between Italy (Bari) and Greece (Patras) if you have an interrail (global) pass and how do you "activate" the discount when doing the booking?
Thanks!

There are some 10+ different ferries from various IT ports. Nearly all give some discount-either to ju+se-nior or to passholders-just read their site.
The 1 and only that promises to transport passholders ´free´ still charges for fuel+port+hi-season+other taxes=at least 32€, with also a passday to use this means it may cost more as go with discount=when no day has to be used.
Do NOT use any of the 12+ different all-ferry overviews bookers that google will list first-use for seeming best and then find their own site.
In the past it was in fact the case that passholders only could get the ´free´ passage by waiting in standby at ferryport-only for the places left over.
Note that nowadays several ferries only do people with cars.

Aha, thank you - that solved the thing! I was using one of these "12+ different all-ferry bookers". But when I went directly to the very ferry company it was described and included - great!
