Is it possible to travel with the Interrail Global Pass with the Avlo from Madrid to Barcelona and back? Thank you for your answer

Hi!

No, Interrail is only valid on the regular RENFE services as far as I know.

There are also OUIGO trains (SNCF) in Spane. Here Interrail is not valid as far as I know

same as for OuiGo in FR-these low-cost fully booked special no frills trains are NOT included in any pass.
If you use passdays-it may very well be that, if you only do this 1 trip on 1 day-that booking a normal seat works out cheaper.
DO note the special rules for it-different from normal trains-it helps if you have done that dreaded ´RYAN a few times ...........
Oh-and IN ESpana there is-or very soon will be, yet another contester, by TrenItalia, named like QuiRoGo or so (which is a kind of spanish nickname for going gone). As for now only MAD-BCN and soon also MAD-Valencia and maybe, if succes, also to Malaga.
The advantage may be that there are now many more seats on MAD-BCN so that pressure on the hourly normal AVE may be less to find seats at last moment
