Hello,

I just wanted to check in with you all to see if anyone has bought the sleeper ticket from Stavanger to Oslo and can tell me what the seat is like? Is it, as one would expect, a ticket for a provate cabin with a bed? The description says it's for a seat, hence the confusion!

Many thanks!

Hi!

There are different types of accomodation on this night train, seats and sleeper.

Where die you buy your ticket?
If it says "seat" on your ticket I would assume that it is for a regular seat only. These are relatively hard seats which can recline a little and normally a little convenience package with blanket, ear plugs etc is provided. I would prefer the sleeper though (which is quite comfortable).

Look at price: a seat cost around 5/6€ to pay.
A BED/sleeper: These trains currently (unless it has very recently changed) due to covid ONLY sell private compartments, thus no sharing with strangers as was the case before. The price will be around 100€ extra to pay.
