Hello everyone,

I am hoping to fly from the UK on Monday May 30th to Amsterdam then interrail to Berlin-Prague-Budapest, hopefully flying back from Budapest to the UK on Sunday June 11th. Is this enough time to do all 4 cities and are there night trains to help reduce hostel stays/ travel time?

Thank you!

Hardly to no.
In fact-if these are indeed the only trips to train-then forget the pass and book NOW (or tomorrow) online for better deals. IF you also happen to be student<26 and have/get that ISIC card you get 75% discount on the CZ part. Better even to use the nicer yellow trains of RegioJet for Praha (can also make stop in Wien)-Bp.
Most young brits are so unused to what here on ´the continent´ is normal level of fares that they assume too much.
If youre hell bound on an overnight: coming from Ams you could (not daily) go via Duisburg and use a ICE=seats only, to B. B->Pr is just 4 hrs.
From Pr to Bp is also an overnight-but then again-spoil yourself and book a sleeper or couchette to experience it for once.
use seat61 for more advice how to book etc.
OR the community.eurail.com for specific points about passes etc

Hi and welcome.
Yes, you can save a hostel by using a night train. Also a night train is a real experience. I personally love them very much. :)
But on this route it does not really make sense to use a night train.
With an Interrail pass, you can use all trains on this route for free.

Anyway, compare saver fares for these routes, it might be cheaper than Interrail. Especially as you know your travel dates and don't need to be that much flexible, isn't it?
Interrail will leave your very flexible on this route.

Example:

Amsterdam to Berlin by direct Intercity train from 37 EUR
Netherlands railways: https://rail.shop/nsinternational
German railways: https://bahn.de

Berlin to Prague from 18,90 EUR - use the restaurant car on this route: https://raildude.com/blog/view?id=15
German railways: https://bahn.de
Czech railways: https://cd.cz

Prague to Budapest from 16 EUR
Regiojet - private operator: https://regiojet.com
Czech railways: https://cd.cz
Austrian railways: https://oebb.at

Information about night trains is here: https://rail.cc/night-train

Enjoy your trip. If you need further help, please let me know.
Peter :)
