Wir versuchen eine Reise mit Interrail von Deutschand über Frankreich nach Spanien (Strasbourg - Lyon - Girona - Alicante) für Mitte Juli zu planen. Zurück mit Zwischenstopps in Valencia und Tarragona. Leider schaffen wir es nicht, Reservierungen für Züge zu buchen geschweige denn Fahrpläne herauszubekommen. Wer hat einen Tipp?

geht nach community.eurail.com. gleiche Frage-sogar auch von detusche schon 123x beantwortet War gestern noch in Tarragona, mieselregen, Zugausfall und verspaetung bis zu 2 st.
In short; ESpana is the very worst country of all for InterRail-due to need to reserve about any trip (and if not needed on local trains, to find someone to open the gates for you). And 2nd worst is France-need for all those expensive reservations on TGV. Still it seems that all 1st time IR-users want exactly to go there.
Timings for ESpana-only complete on renfe.com, but even there you have to choose first what type of train you want-local fares also differ enormously by that. FRance/SNCF has quota for passholders, Spain not, but for the AVE trains the supplmt is also quite high. You can avoid these mostly on your route, but then the time will be much longer and comfort much less
