Hi,
I am in Australia. I am due in Goteborg, Sweden for a wedding on 2.7.22 and am interested in this Great Scandinavian Rail Tour. I am wondering if you can start anyway or are there set departure dates and departure towns. Can you advise. I am also interested in the inlandsbanen in Sweden (if you have any information on how that gets booked and its timetable. Thanks

Inlandsbanan only runs summertime, the full trip all the way takes 2 days. Its all-(as always, google is a dear friend) on inlandsbanan.se-maybe details not yet finalised for summer, due to covid situation.
Never heard of this great circle tour, but I assume its simply some gimmick for people from far away and not used to taking trains (OZzie and USA) to give them some ideas about how to make some fine train trips.
Check the site of eurail.com for country info, a list of what type of passes are available etc.
