Hola Comunidad, estoy por planificar un viaje en los primeros dias de marzo( tren directo) y quiero saber si es practico y no cambia mucho sacar los billetes en la boleteria de la estacion ( un dia antes por lo menos) o por la web anticipadamente( una semana antes). La otr duda es la clase, no se bien en este tipo de tren que diferencia hay entre primera y segunda clase( vi el la web la diferencia del precio pero no de lo que incluye). Capaz hay diferencia entre la cantidad de equipaje a llevar( o es indistinto). Bueno la ultima duda es el control por COVID al entrar a la estacion de Hamburgo( tengo las tres dosis, pero dos de Sinopham y una de Pfiser( pero vengo de un mes dentro de Europa, España y Amsterdam). Perdon por la extencion, pero es importante a la hora de planificar el viaje. Luego tendre que ir a Berlin por l misma via del tren. Gracias por su respuesta

Ola, hello.
Its always much better, if you can tie yourself into a fixed date/time, to prebook. Do that on bahn.de. (german railways). This will be far cheaper. There is just 1 or 2 trains that run through-there are many more connections with change on the way.
The through trains are danish diesel sets, with limited seats, a very few in 1st and more in 2nd. IF you always fly business in planes, then go 1st, otherwise its just a waste of money.
There are NO covid checks pre-boarding, but ON board in fact on ALL public transport anywhere in Germany=DE you must wear PPF masks and if asked-spot checks, must be able to produce this EUr QR code that shows you have been vaccinated or recovered. Maybe they will accept some foreign paper, but do not count on that. You will also need to show that for about all HTL or restrt-so cannot really do without. BUT this can all change at the whim of the moment. Currently Denmark has hardly any restrictions, so it seems quite funny that the virus is able determine the border.
On trains you can take all the luggage you can carry by yourself and load on the racks. There is no fee for that.
