Hi.
As a friend asked me about a journey from Madrid to Bordeaux including the big old station of Canfranc, in the middle of the Pyrenees.
Here is the guide how to do it:

1) Madrid-Zaragoza
AVE high-speed-train
06:30 - 07:51

2) Zaragoza-Canfranc
Local train
08:55 - 12:34

Ticket Madrid-Canfranc on https://rail.shop/trainline or https://rail.shop/omio or https://renfe.com

3) Canfranc - Bedous Gare
It is by bus, as the train route is still damaged.
Ticket available in the bus for EUR 2,30

14:20 - 15:16

4) Bedous Gare - Pau
Local TER train
16:05 - 17:15

5) Pau - Bordeaux
TGV high-speed-train
18:31 - 20:40

Ticket on https://rail.shop/trainline

Peter :)
