hello, I need information on bike transport on the train. My husband and I are going to cycle tourism from Munich (Germany) to Verona (Italy). We will rent the bikes in Munich and cycle to Verona. On the way back we want to do it by train and we´ll have to transport the bikes on the train. We can do it? How to do this? How do we know the trains that make this transport?

Simply use the bahn.de site=german rails for info. Put in stations and date (currently not much info beyond timatable change dec-but assume its mostly near the same after): EC=eurocity trains run about ev 2 hrs in about 5-30 and CAN take bikes, bur you MUST reserve space for them and those spaces are limited. The site will also show prices and also for bikes when you make the booking

Hello.
As nltrainer already wrote...
Go to
https://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
Select the route Verona to Munich and mark the bicycle "Show connections with available bicycle spaces".
Then you will find direct trains with a journey time of 5:30 hours. The ticket price starts at 37 EUR.
As soon as you selected "your train connection", you have to call Deutsche Bahn as online booking of bicycle space on international trains is not possible.
The ticket for the bicycle costs 9-12 EUR.
They offer a booking service by phone in Italian language. See here: https://www.bahn.com/it/contatti

All the best, Peter :)
