Planning on purchasing a Eurail Pass.

Which is the best time and train to take the train from Berlin to Paris?

Not interested in the night train, as we want to enjoy the views of the country.

For only this trip EUrail is not worth it, just book a normal ticket in advance.
There also is not 1 train (anymore)changes are needed, the nighttrain has also long gone and this is not really a route that will spoil you with brilliant views-also nearly half of it will go on HiSpeed line where you mostly see fences, or maybe corn or sugarbeetfields.
IF you can spare the time and are willing to detour a bit, take the trip along the Rhine, on of Europe´s major rivers, between f.e. KÖln=Cologne for you and Mainz or Frankfurt-see the Lorelei and perhaps even a short detour along the Mosel for its wine regions. Note that K-F is also connected much faster in 1 hr by HiSpeed. As for time of year: probably either late spring and sept/early oct with many winefests just after harvest
Times for trains: jutst use any of the multitude of travelplanners, also linked on this site. Break it up in segments. Times will have changed by next yr-and anyway its mostly german so trains are late anyway, but not by very much in general pattern
