Hi

Is there any difference in the service not other between beds in triple and doubles on the PKP InterCity Night trains?

A bed in a triple is 79 PLN, and bed in a double is 159 PLN. Simple math gives that for two persons it is cheaper two book 3 beds in a triple and then add a free baby to the booking, so you have the right for 3 beds...

So is there any additional service in a double? Sure I guess only two beds will be there, so more space between them, but I guess bit will be simple to fold one bed up in a triple and then have the same configuration...?

Kindly advice if you know about it...

Hi Kim.
Good question. But I don't have a real answer. Maybe someone else knows more?!?
Or if you found out already something, I happy to share your experiences!
Thank you, Peter :)

Hi Kim,
we travelled in two doubles last summer and I didnt recognize any special/extra service as compared to travelling in a T3 compartment.
Depending on the train you want to travel with it wont be that difficult to rearrange the beds if you know what your are doing; I am not sure if the conductor would resell the empty bed if the "baby" wont show up but I guess you wont have a problem.
