Hi,
we are from Canada and we will be staying from September 8 to 11 in Varna. Thereafter, we would like to take the train on September 11 to go to the three of us in Bucharest. From what I've read, if that's what I understand, we can't pre-purchase our train tickets. You have to buy them at a station. Is this exactly? Would it be possible to have a visual of what is possible to take as train either day and night and the approximate costs? I try to find on your site but it is not obvious with the terms which are not in our language :) Can you help us please?

Hello.
To get a first impression, here the schedule...

Varna dep 09:15
Ruse arr 13:10

Ruse dep 1415
Bucharest arr 1700

The journey won't be expensive. You can check tickets here, maybe you get some after Corona: https://rail.shop/cfr (select international tickets). Otherwise it is no problem to get them at the train station in Varna. Best is to write your destination and date on a little paper, as the staff not always speak English. With a written paper the communication is easy. :)

Pete :)
