I am booking a ticket from Dublin Heuston to Killarney on Thursday 23th 9:00. From Dublin to Mallow, I don’t see any wagon with bikes but I see one for the link Mallow to Killarney. Same thing for the return.
So I am confused. Can I put my bicycle from Dublin Heuson to Mallow and Mallowcto Dublin H?
Thanks

Hi!

Do you want to travel on Thursday, April 23rd?
All basic information can be found here: https://www.irishrail.ie/travel-information/bicycle-information-for-rail-travel#bicyclesonintercitytrains
I can book bicycle accomodation for Dublin - Mallow at https://rail.shop/irishrail for April 23.

So the prob is for 2nd leg, to Kill.
From what Ive read on irish cycles and CIE: bike space must be reserved, most trains have 4 places, some smaller ones only 2. I guess that train 2 has already been taken by people who were before you. How strict this is all done in mostly easygoing IE-I have no idea, locals will know that better. Check at least if other trains for the secor still have bike-space.
