hey all :)

next month i am going interailing for the first time so i am getting stuck on a few things

well i am mostly going on local trains so i dont have to reserve, but i am planning on getting a night train from amsterdam to berlin on the 8th of july, it leaves at 19:03 and the route is CNL 379

but im not sure how to go about reserving a couchette for two people or what the total costs of reserving are

if anyone could help and tell me that would be great :D

have a look at this link:

online reservation is not possible right now... but you can call ... or just buy your reservation for the CNL at a station. :)

thats great thanks :P

ok well i have more questions lol

well ive also noticed i have to reserve a train from prague to vienna (SC 75) so i just wondered if i reserve these trains at the train station the day before, will that be enough time to reserve or do i have to do it like a week before?

+ are there reservation costs? and and i know some trains have surcharges so i wouldnt how you paid them, like if they came round on the train, or if you have to pay them at the station

the trains are stressing me out lol

if it is a day train, you can buy your reservation one day in advance - no problem ... and I am not sure right now, because I am interrailing right now as well ... but it was 3-5 EUR as a supplement!? maybe the answer is somewhere in the forum . :o
all the best,
Peter :)
