Hello.
The BahnCard is a discount card of German railways "Deutsche Bahn". You get a reduction of 25% or 50% on saver fares and standard ticket fares.
Usually the "BahnCard 25" is the best choice if you travel from time to time in Germany. The price starts from 55 Euro for a 2nd class BahnCard for an adult.
Saver fares "Sparpreis" are available on https://rail.shop/bahn
Kids up to the age of 14 years travel for free with Deutsche Bahn. No need to buy a ticket for them, only a seat reservation (4 Euro) if you buy one for you as well, to sit together.
