Hi flo,

I have a question regarding the night train from venice to ljubljana. Its tops off in Austris then on to ljubljana, do we have to pay for the couchettes/cabin on each of the trains or is it one flat fee?

Mnay thanks

Hi.
An other option is to do this trip by day train as the night is short on this connection:

Thanks Peter, but for our other night trains how does it work if there is a changeover? Do we pay our sleeping supplement for each train??

Thanks

Yes, you have to pay per night train you use.

I'm looking to travel from venice to budapest, but am I correct in understanding from your posts that you need to pay the supplement every time it stops?! So 5 euros at each stop? :|
Or can you just pay 5 euros for a seat when you get on in Venice and stay on until it reaches Budapest as a single journey?
Thanks.

Hi.
You always pay a reservation once for a direct train. So only one time EUR 5, NOT for every stop. Relax. :)
