With the Interrail global pass, do we still have to pay full price of the intercité route, or are there any discounts? I want to do Paris - Toulouse on the intercité de nuit.

With an Interrail pass you get a special price for the compulsory reservation. Have a look at the Paris - Toulouse night train: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/paris-toulouse-icn-3751-53/291[/ux]
The reservation can be bought online via the SNCF website (see link above); select "Global Pass" as "discount card" and you'll get the Interrail reservations.
