If we are travelling to a different city in the same country, I.e, Frankfurt to Berlin. Are we required to pay for a ticket? Or just a seat reservation if required?
Thanks

Hi Michael.

If you have an Interrail pass valid for the country you travel in, you travel for free.
Some trains require a reservation: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

Frankfurt to Berlin by direct ICE train is for example free with Interrail: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/ice-deutsche-bahn/11

Pete :)
