How to get senior tickets on CP/AP train in Portugal

My husband and I are over 65. We want to buy senior tickets to go first class from Lisboa to Porto. Where can we buy the tickets?

Hello.

It is a good offer of Portuguese railways CP to get a 50% discount for senior travellers, aged 65 and older. You have to prove your age with your passport or ID card. Read here for the details (maybe you know already): https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en/discounts-benefits/Discounts/senior-citizen

To get this senior discount, go on https://rail.shop/cp - which forwards you to the online shop of Portuguese railways CP.
Select the route you want. Continue. Then you are asked to create a profile (required for the ticket purchase). Create it. Usually you have to restart then your booking, login, etc.
In "Passenger Options" you can select "Discount: Senior citizen".
