Hi!
There is no train from Pecs to Novi Sad.
You could go from Pecs to Villany, then to Beli Manastir in Croatia; continue to Osijek, then Erdut and across the border to Bogojevo and finally Novi Sad. However, I think that it will be more convenient via Budapest.
Please consider that in 2019 there is only one train from Budapest to Kelebia and across the border to Novi Sad due to construction works in Serbia.
