Ferry to Salamina

Hy!

I know about ferry boat between Perama and Paloukia. But is it possible travel on these ships as passanger? How much is it?
Where can I find a timetable?

Hi Bea.
The Salamina Island is perfect for a day trip from Athens, as it is the closest island.
Between Perama and Paloukia there are ferries every 15 minutes.
The journey time is 15 minutes.
And the ticket price is only one Euro! :)

There are not a lot of places to stay overnight, but as I said, good for a day trip. You will find there cheap places to eat and not much tourist stuff!
The departure port is Perama is the west port of Piraeus.
You reach the port of Perama by bus in about 50 minutes from Athens city center. Search for "Β18 ΠΕΡΑΜΑ - ΟΜΟΝΟΙΑ" and see here: www.openstreetmap.org/relation/3648658
