Myself and my family of four wish to travel from trencin to gdynia in poland to arrive in time to catch a ferry to sweden at 8pm on the 13th June this year. We will also be returning on the 17th June leaving Gdynia at 10am. I am finding it difficult to co ordinate the different trains and to find out which ones stop at Trencin.

Hi!

You can find out basic schedules and connections with the help of schedule planners such as [ux]http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/dn[/ux] or [ux]http://plan.rail.cc/[/ux]

Basically, it is not possible to go from Trencin to Gdynia during the day and then catch the ferry; although there is a connection leaving Trencin at 0521 and arriving in Gdynia at 1846 I would strongly advise against travelling like that since you may miss a connection and then your ferry... :(

You could either take the night train from Bratislava to Warsaw, then continue to Gdynia and arrive in Gdynia around noon, with enough time to have a quick look around (maybe go to the beach at Sopot or visit the old town of Gdansk).
Alternatively you could travel during the day from Trencin via Bratislava to Warsaw, spend the night there and continue the following day to Gdansk.

As far as I know tickets are not available online; you can try and have a look at the website of Slovak Railways at [ux]http://rail.shop/slovakrail[/ux]
Maybe tickets are available at [ux]https://rail.shop/polrail/[/ux]
Are you starting your trip from Trencin? You could then also buy tickets locally.
