Hi.

There are no train connections anymore on the route from Kiato to Patras, but a direct bus. The train route was closed in 2007 due to the costs.

The journey time by bus from Kiato to Patras is about 1:25 h.
Ticket price is Euro 10.
The bus runs at least every two hours.

Hi!

There are ongoing construction works on the line from Athens to Patras to convert the line from narrow gauge to standard gauge. Trains operate from Athens to Kiato, the rest of the line a replacement bus service is available.
Recently the first trial runs have taken place on the section from Kiato to Aigio, maybe in summer regular trains will operate from Athens to Aigio, with replacement buses still on the remaining section to Patras.
