Hi,
Very soon I\'m going to travel a lot between the southern part of Denmark (2 h from Hamburg) and Paris. I have been searching the internet to find night trains so I can spare travelling during the day time. As far as I know the night train between Hamburg and Paris has been closed down since 2014. I\'ve seen some information about a night train between Mannheim and Paris, but when I enter the information in db\'s search engine I don\'t find any night trains. Can someone help me? Does there still exist a possibility to come from northern Germany to Paris and spend an uninterrupted night of sleep?

Hi!

The option with the most sleep probably would be to take the Hamburg - Zürich night train: [ux]https://rail.cc/de/interrail-nachtzug/hamburg-zuerich-nj-401/501[/ux]

Depending on when you want/have to be in Paris you can stay on board until Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Basel or Zurich and then change to a TGV or ICE high speed train to Paris. It is a bit more comfortable in the opposite direction. ;)

The train you heard about probably is the weekly Moscow - Paris night train; this train has an overnight leg between Berlin and Paris, also calling at Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Strasbourg.
Schedule at [ux]https://rail.shop/rzd/[/ux] - the train departs Berlin for Paris on Wednesday evening, returning the following night.

There are also a couple of overnight IC/ICE trains available on the route between Hamburg, Frankfurt and Basel, but these only offer 2nd and 1st class seats and no couchette or sleeper accomodation.
