Hi and welcome to Railcc

From Hoek van Holland towards Schiedam is a bus replacement until further notice. Somewhere within this summer will the Metro start to operate, the Metro Hoek van Holland - Rotterdam Centraal. Until then you can change from the direct replacement bus towards Schiedam Centrum for the direct IC towards Amsterdam (2 times pro hour, platform 5).

When you are using the Rail&Sail; your ticket includes the bus and train within the Netherlands. Read everything in our blog:

When you are using Interrail, the replacement bus is not included. NS trains are, no reservation possible.

When you travelling on your own tickets:
Buy your bus ticket on the bus (card payment only!) and your train ticket on the station. NS tickets are available online as e-ticket (with credit card), or at the station for a 1 euro supplement at the ticket machine.
