My husband and I have an Interrail Pass. How do we book and pay for reservations on the Internet? We want to go from Paris to Girona (Gerona, Spain) and Girona to Madrid leaving Paris on the 20th of March at 10.07 a.m. After a lot of attempts I\'m almost giving up... Best regards Jette

Dear Jette.
The international TGV from France (Paris) to Spain (Madrid/Barcelona) is only available as offline booking for Interrail. You have to buy the reservation at a station in France or Spain. Not a good solution, but it is as it is. Read here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/tgv-france-espana/298
As you see there, it is also very expensive.

Solution: it is possible to travel cheaper and to buy a reservation online. :)

1) Travel only in France by TGV from Paris to Perpignan. And buy the reservation therefore online at: [ux]https://en.oui.sncf/en/pass/seat-reservation[/ux]
2) Leave the TGV in Perpignan and change to a local train to Portbou at the French-Spanish border. Schedules here: [ux]https://cdn.ter.sncf.com/medias/PDF/occitanie/FH23%20PORT%20BOU%20-%20NARBONNE%20PAYSAGE_V3_tcm76-209311_tcm76-210226.pdf[/ux]
3) In Portbou change again to a local train in direction of Barcelona and exit before at Girona. Schedules here: [ux]http://rodalies.gencat.cat/en/horaris/[/ux]

Both regional trains are free to use with Interrail. The TGV should be 10 or 20 Euro per reservation, depends on when you buy. Reservations for summer aren\'t available for now, you still have to wait a little bit. :)

If you like the free Interrail content on rail.cc and the free support, support us and buy your official Interrail pass via our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - thank you! :)

To follow up your email:
Thank you very much. Do you know about reservations Girona-Madrid on the 20th of March?
Best regards
Jette

I answered:
Dear Jette.
Go on the website of ACPRail. They sell reservations for Interrail
travellers. [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux]
You will get them for EUR 14 per person. And it is send by letter to
you. Currently there is not other way to get it online as much as I know.
Happy travel days, Peter :)
