From Sofia to Budapest

I am interested in booking a train cabin for two adults from Sofia to Budapest in the 4th of May.Could you give me some information on how I can book these tickets?

Hi and welcome to railcc!

There are no direct trains (day or night) from Sofia to Budapest.

Basically there are two routes to travel:

1)

Stay overnight in Belgrade
Belgrade to Budapest: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/budapest-belgrade-train/[/ux]
Attention, from February 2019 the railway line between Novi Sad and Subotica will be closed due to construction works; we have received information that there might be no (!) bus replacement service, so travelling between Belgrade and Budapest might be not possible at all during most parts of 2019. As soon as we have more information the blog post will be updated.

From Craiova you can travel to Timisoara, make an overnight stop and continue to Budapest the next day
