I want to travel from Brussels to Carcasonne France in April with a suitcase and a bike in a bag (like you use on a plane)
Is it possible to check the bike into a luggage car? Can I buy a ticket for it?
Regards

Hi Ian, welcome to railcc!

If you can transport the dismantled bike in your bag (maximum dimensions 120x90cm) the bike is considered regular luggage and you can take in on board without any extra costs.
If you take the fully equipped bike on board you need to buy an extra reservation for 10€ which is available online as well on https://rail.shop/sncf

Have you already been looking at a specific connection?

Thanks for that, so I can just walk up to the station with the bagged bike plus another bag and be let on.
I haven\'t bought a ticket yet, but I\'m staying in Antwerp and will be travelling to Carcasonne. Just planning the trip at present.
Thanks for the info
