Hi and welcome.
It depends on the route and train type you want to use.
Which route(s) do you have in mind?
Pete :)

Hi!

Please note that the Transasia Express (Ankara - Tehran) is currently not operating.

However you can go from Ankara to Tatvan with night train Vangölü Ekspresi:
Ankara 10:55 - 12:02 Tatvan (next day); apparently Tue and Sun only
Then you have to cross Lake Van by ferry; from Van on the opposite shore there is a night train to Tabriz in Iran. Trains runs once weekly, from Van on Tuesdays, departure is 22:30, travel time about 12h.
From Tabriz you can continue by domestic trains to Ankara.
I dont know about bike transport, but if you dismantle your bike it should be no problem. Most trains should also have dedicated luggage cars.

Let us know about your experiences, thank you! :)
