Hello everyone!I’m doing my first Interrail and I have a doubt:can I make a reservation in stations?
For example:I get to Prague on July 28 at 5.42 AM:can i make a reservation in the station for a train for Budapest that’s scheduled July 29 at 23.57?And how does it work with all the different types of seats(beds, couchette)? thanks in advance for the response!????

Hi and welcome to railcc!

You can easily buy reservations for Interrail at train stations. Normally it is no problem to buy all domestic reservations as well as reservations for international trips too (at least for trains in neighbouring countries, sometimes for other countires as well).
Reservations are usually available at ticket desks only (not at ticket machines, but there are some exceptions such as Italy). In eastern Europe it is normal to buy reservations at stations, so do not worry.

For trains in Czech Republic and from CZ to foreign destinations it is also possible to buy reservations only at [ux]https://rail.shop/cd/[/ux] - select the train you want and "reservation only", then proceed with the booking. Reservations for night trains (seat, couchette, sleeper) are also available there.

For more information about night trains in general: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train[/ux]
I would recommend to get at least a couchette reservation so that you can relax and lie down (instead of having to sit all night in a possibly full compartment. If you go to the ticket desk and as for a "couchette" they will understand you - it is an internationally common name.

When going from Prague to Budapest overnight you could also use this train if you want to sleep longer: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/prague-budapest-ic573-en477/588[/ux]

Support our work by purchasing your Interrail pass via our partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail/[/ux] - thank you! :)

Nice informations there, thanks! But unfortunately I can’t find the train that I mentioned before!I tried on the app, and I was able to find the train, but it didn’t give me a chance to book, while it was possible on other trains.Any ideas why?Is it because it’s full or because I can’t book the EN477 Metropol?

On which app?

If ou go to [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] you can book both night trains. Select "reservation only" and you will get a reservation.

Keep in mind that on the later train from Prague there is no couchette available.
