Hello,

just a quick question regarding the Global Pass:
Would it be possible to take the train from Germany to Sweden, fly back to Germany, get somehow to Austria without using the train and continue my journey from there?

I appreciate your answers!

Thanks & greetings from Bavaria,
Julius

Hi Julius, welcome to railcc!

Yeah that is no problem - journeys with your Interrail Pass do not have to be consecutive, you can use all other means of transport too to get from place A to B. Of course these trips (such as plane, bus,...) are not covered by your Interrail ticket but you are surely aware of that.

Anyway, I would find it much more interesting to avoid the plane and for instance take a ferry from Sweden to Poland, then make your way to Austria. What is your planned route, maybe we can find an interesting alternative? :)
