Hello travellers,
I have a question about spots for tent in or near Stockholm and Östersund. Im planning to go north on a budget and when Sweden have wild camping legal, I\'ll do it that way.

Hi.
Wild camping is allowed in Sweden as long as you take your waste with you and you are not disturbing someone on his private ground. If you ask locals politely, they often know a place. Inside of cities it is hard, as you first have to take public transportation to leave the city.
I suppose you want to continue from Östersund by Inlandsbanan up to the north? Then just get our at a small station... and just camp beside the station. Works in most cases. But you will also find camp sites along Inlandsbanan, which are usually not more than Euro 10 for a person with tent.
