So I accidentally screwed up my travel details for today: I thought I was going to be driven by a friend from Berlin to Hamburg but some things happened and I\'ll need to take the train from Berlin to Hamburg to catch a train leaving from there. This has no effect on the dates for the calendar, as I will still be leaving on the same day, I just need to take another very short train beforehand. Problem is, my journey details go from Prague to Berlin, and then Hamburg to Copenhagen, whilst I\'ll need to use my pass between Hamburg and Berlin. Can I change something in my pass as long as it\'s NOT the calendar? Do the dates have to be consecutive, as long as all correct information is still present?

Hi and welcome to railcc!

I dont think that this is much of a problem.
The purpose of the travel diary is to split revenue to the participating companies according to distance travelled in each country - thats why you have to fill it in and are encouraged to send it in after your trip.
It would be much more problematic if you\'d messed up the travel calendar (ie filling in a wrong date in your pass).

I used to mess around quite a bit with my travel diaries, filling in each journey that I made, regardless if it was with my Interrail pass or not (buses, ferries etc).

Also, it is not necessary that information in the travel diary is consecutive - you can cover the distance between two stations with any kind of transportation you like - on foot, by car, bus, boat,...
