Hi.

Do you want to travel by Interrail pass https://rail.cc/interrail from Amsterdam https://rail.cc/amsterdam/c to Cologne https://rail.cc/cologne/c , then no reservation is required, but recommended. Direct trains available, please have a look at the live schedules: [ux]https://plan.rail.cc[/ux]

If you want to travel by a normal point to point train ticket, saver fares are available for the direct trains from Euro 19,90 - book early in advance. The journey time is about 2:40h and depends on the connection you choose.

Buy your train tickets via the following booking websites, there you also find schedules:
NS International (Netherlands railways): [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux]
Deutsche Bahn (German railways): [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Omio (an easy to use international train ticket booking tool): [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux]

Choose "Amsterdam Centraal" as main station of Amsterdam https://rail.cc/amsterdam/amsterdam-central-railway-station/l177 and "Köln Hbf" as main station of Cologne https://rail.cc/cologne/cologne-central-railway-station/l105

Pete :)
