Hi and welcome.
Sofia central station shouldn\'t be a problem at all - look for the RILA office (= international tickets). It was on the main hall left hand in the past (maybe moved). But it says officially, that the country IN which you buy your Balkan Flexi Pass is considered as your country of residence, where only one inbound and one outbound travel is allowed. Read here: https://rail.cc/en/balkan-flexi-pass
I also hear that this rule of the "country of residence" is not controlled anymore. Maybe contact the RILA office in advance: [ux]http://www.bdz.bg/en/railway-ticket-agency-rila/railway-ticket-agency-rila.html[/ux]
If you could give me a feedback, it would be nice to help other travellers with your experiences. Thank you! :)
Pete :)

Hi!

As already mentionend; no problem to buy it at Sofia station (international ticket counter or RILA office).
Dont buy online as it is cheaper locally.
