This sleeper may cease to exist from later in the month due to Trenitalia being renovated.

Hi,
I tried to book some tickets for this EuroNight 440 train from Budapest to Venice from the railcc shop to travel on the night of 23 and 24 August but it says ERROR: System couldn't load fares for the requested route. Please try searching again.
Do you know any other website where I could purchase the tickets?
Maybe it is already sold out?
Thanks for your help.

www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=c79686605528a110VgnVCM1000003f16f90aRCRD
put dates and after some steps choose global pass on the list on the left then the price will change.

Thank you Hetman!
However as I will depart from Budapest and that Trenitalia delivers only in Italia or in self-service in Italian stations, how can I get the tickets?
I'm thinking about another way : do you think that if I go straight to a ticket office in Budapest's station once I arrive there, I will be able to book them for 3 days later, or will it probably be sold out?

As far as I know you cant buy the ticket online - if it is not possible on the Trenitalia site.
It is hard to predict whether the train will be full 3 days in advance, but unless you are travelling on friday or sunday evening it should be definitely fine I think.

Thank you for your help.
I plan to take it on a Tuesday, I really hope it will not be full...
Also, the train is coming through Croatia, which as you know is not in the EU. I don't have a passport but only an ID card. Do you know if it will be enough?

As far as I know an ID card is enough for EU citizen. :)
