How can I get to Athens from Corfu in early July? I have a Eurail pass. I was told there are no trains in the closest port from Corfu - Igoumenitsa. So how can I get to Athens without going around the main land of Greece?

Hi and welcome to railcc!
There are no trains to Igoumenitsa, that is correct. You can reach Igoumenitsa by long distance bus; in Greece these are usually operated by "KTEL". Have a look here: [ux]https://www.ktel-thesprotias.gr/en[/ux]
If you want to travel more by train, you could go first from Athens to Kalambaka (visit the Meteora monasteries there - see [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/train-ferry-greece/[/ux]) and then take a bus to Igoumenitsa.
You can also take a train from Athens to Kiato, then take the rail replacement bus to Patras. From Patras you can take a ferry either to Igoumenitsa or directly to Corfu. Ferries: [ux]https://rail.shop/bluestarferries/[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/superfast/[/ux]
