I already have my Interrail Gloal Pass for travelling 1 way from England to eastern Turkey starting June 18 arrive June 26. How can I reserve the sleeper ( 2 berth private bathroom €15 as advertised on your site ) train from Sofia to Istanbul on June 22. I want to do this before I leave UK, to be sure I have a berth. What telephone number could I ring? Deutsche Bahn could not do the reservation!! So how can I reserve a month in advance?

Hi Philip.
Please read our blog with more details to the night train from Sofia to Istanbul: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/bucharest-sofia-istanbul-train/[/ux]
The reservation is not available online: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/sofia-istanbul-d-493/309
But I can recommend you the travel specialists from Wasteels which are based in Budapest. I think you will cross Budapest on your trip and be bale to pick up your reservation there: [ux]https://rail.shop/wasteels[/ux]
Your experience is welcome, let us know if you got it there. :)
And to support the free content on rail.cc, always buy your Interrail pass at no extra costs for you via our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interraileu[/ux] - thank you!

Dear Pete
Thank you for your reply. I phoned Wasteels in Budapest, but they cannot reserve Sleeper berths for Sofia to Istanbul train. They only deal with trains in Hungary. We are going via Paris Munich, Zagreb, Belgrade, Sofia , Istanbul, and I would appreciate any recommendation of travel agent in Sofia who can reserve 2 berth sleeper for my wife and I depart Friday June 22, arrive Istanbul Halkali Saturday June 23. Can you help us? I cannot see how to do this reservation on your website???

Hi Philip,
you could try to contact the former "RILA" travel agencies in Sofia/Bulgaria: [ux]http://www.bdz.bg/en/railway-ticket-agency-rila/railway-ticket-agency-rila.html[/ux]
They belong to national operator BDZ and are in charge of selling international tickets/reservations.
Let us know if this option works - and it would be great to hear up to date information from the night train to Istanbul so I can update the blog accordingly. :)
