Hi.
I will have a Euro rail pass valid for a month. Can I travel between cities within the Scandanavian countries? I fly from my home country to Copenhagen and return back to my home country from Copenhagen. I want to know if there is a train available to travel from Copenhagen to Helsinki and then to Stockholm and then to Oslo and then return back to Copenhagen? Cause I found a lot of traveller\'s personal experiences and it is quite confusing. I cannot Tavel by air for reason that I will be travelling with a large group of people and we will. be having big and heavy luggages as we tour Northern Europe for a month. I like to know what is the best way to navigate this area? I plan to stay one week in each country: Finland/Sweden/Norway and then finally Denmark. So time is not an issue but would like to save time on travel as much as possible but without the option fo air travel and ticket prices of getting good deals is not important, as long as I can get point to point to each destination that will be wonderful. From Copenhagen I like to go to Helsinki and then Stockholm then Oslo and finally return back to Copenhagen to take my return flight back to my country. So what is the best way to travel and since I have a EuroRail pass can I use it in this sector of travel? Will appreciate all the help in deciding how to navigate this vast region and this is the only option I have for my travel.

Hi and welcome.
Do you want to do your round trip alone or in a group ?
With stops in between or only the big capitals.
If you start in Copenhagen, your round tour could be like this:
Copenhagen - Stockholm - ferry trip to Helsinki - back to Stockholm - Inlandsbanan - Narvik - Lofoten Island - Bodö - Trondheim - Oslo - trip to Bergen and Flam railways - Göteborg - Copenhagen
OR: starting like above - then from Helsinki to Rovaniemi, visiting Santa Claus - by free bus to Sweden - and via Lulea to Narvik and on the route above.
I added some blogs to this post. Have a look on it. As soon as you know your route, I can give you more details. Everything is by train and ferry. No need to take a plane! :)
Eurail tickets are available via our partner link. Same price for you, but we get a little commission to continue with all the free information, help and blog posts. Thank you! :)
