I'm thinking about going interrailing next year and would be going for about five/six weeks. I have come up with this route so far based on the places I want to see:

Paris-Zurich-Florence-Pisa-San Marino

Then Ancona (Italy) to Patras (Greece) on Ferry

Then Corinth-Athens-Sofia-Belgrade-Bar-Sarajevo-Zagreb-Ljubljana-Budapest-Bratislava-Vienna-Prague

I have allowed around two days for each location and will be travelling on my own so I would hopefully be able to get as much out of the days as possible.

Any comments/advice would be much appreciated!

hej ... my personal experience ... it is a lot ... but you can do it if you calculate for each location 2 travel days (including to travel to reach these places).
but maybe after the first 10 cities, you will also need a place to relax for 5 days ... I personally need this ... as only cities, cities, cities is becoming then annoying ... ;)
have fun,
Peter
