What are facilities on the IC train from Faro to Lisbon?
What is the difference between first class and standard?
Is it worth paying more for Alfa Pendular?

Hi and welcome to railcc!

The IC trains are quite comfortable in 2nd and 1st class in my opinion; in 2nd class you have four seats per row (2+2), in 1st class you have three seats per row (2+1).
More information: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/train-type/portugal/pt[/ux]

The Alfa Pendular has a few more extra amenities (power plugs, Wifi) and is currently undergoing refurbishment.
Personally I would take whichever train suits my schedule more. The Alfa Pendular is faster (220 km/h) and a tilting train, so if you get sick easily on a bus, boat,... it might not be the best option for you - on the other hand, travelling with a fast tilting train is quite fun too. :)
