Hi there!

I'll be in Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia this year, and I know that in all of these countries the legal drinking age is 18. The problem is, I'm only 17 - I'm not intending to drink, especially since I'll be on my own, but I'd like to visit some bars/clubs in the evenings. I was wondering, to any travlellers who have been to cities in these countries, how relaxed are pubs/clubs in the cities about letting in under-agers? Should I get me some fake ID?

I ask because in the UK, obviously, they're uptight to fuck about letting people under 18 into clubs. I just feel that it'd be a more fun experience if I didn't have to worry about getting KB'd any time I tried to go somewhere at night. x!

Hi bumchicken,

Generally in eastern europe, smaller pubs don't ever ask for id. Clubs, especially in the larger cities, will check for id at the entrance though.

also see pm.

Cheers,

AO
