Hello LexiSky and welcome to rail.cc
There are several direct trains per day from Sofia to Varna. Usually around four during the day (journey time 7:30h) and two overnight.
One-way second class is about EUR 12. And in first class about EUR 15.
It is possible to buy some trains online, others only at a station. I recommend to write on a paper the departure and arrival station in Bulgarian language ( Sofia = София / Varna = Варна ), plus travel date and time. Then it is very easy to get your ticket.
Night trains: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/sofia-varna-bv-3637/521 and https://rail.cc/en/night-train/sofia-varna-bv-2627/522
Get the exact schedules here: [ux]https://rail.shop/bdz[/ux]

Hi and welcome to railcc!
You can find schedules and fares here: [ux]http://razpisanie.bdz.bg/site/search.jsp[/ux] - keep in mind to switch the site to "EN" = english for entering latin characters.
Tickets for selected trains are also available on [ux]https://bdztickets.com/en/[/ux] - but it is also no problem to buy your ticket locally in Bulgaria at a train station. If you do that, it makes good sense to write your journey details (departure and arrival station, time and date, number of travellers and 1st or 2nd class) in cyrillic letters on a piece of paper.
