Hi Nikosts and welcome to rail.cc

Do you search for Interrail or Eurail pass reservations ?
Or for standard train tickets ?

The routes usually leads via Milan.

If you travel with a rail pass, let me know and we can plan your route, as often an overnight stop on such a longer routes adds a night in hostel, but lowers the price for reservations. And you can include scenic routes.

Hi and welcome to railcc!

Quickest route probably will be from Ancona to Milan by Frecciarossa (10€ reservation), then by Thello to Milan (not included in Interrail but reduction available: 53€ - see [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/thello/289[/ux])

Cheaper option would be to go from Ancona to Milan by IC (3€ reservation optional), then by IC to Ventimiglia (3€ reservation optional) then by TER regional train to Nice and by Intercity (not TGV!) to Milan; but you would have to check whether this is possible within one day - it will be a long trip in any case!
