Hi Dimitra, welcome to railcc!
There are direct, fast "Railjet" trains from Budapest to Vienna every two hours; additionally some "Eurocity" trains operate as well.
Railjet trains are modern trains, with restaurant coach and Wifi: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/train-type/railjet-oebb/54[/ux]
Eurocity are comfortable as well, with restaurant coach but no Wifi: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/train-type/eurocity-mav/154[/ux]
Trains are safe, but of course you should simply look after your belongings (just dont be careless). ;)
You can buy tickets from 13€ (in 2nd class) from Hungarian Railways MAV Start at [ux]http://rail.shop/mav[/ux]
These cheap tickets ( "Fortuna tickets" ) are valid for the booked train and date only; you need to collect the tickets at a ticket machine at a station in Hungary.
