to find a good connection, you can use [u]https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route[/u]
I think a good connection is to first travel from Lyon to Paris (by TGV - supplement of 3 to 15 EUR), then use the night-train to Munich:

From Munich you use an EC to Budapest. You will need 18 hours for this tour! :)
If you want to avoid traveling in France (as you live there and can't travel for free there), the best way is via Geneva, Zürich ...

yeah thanks, I knew the way from Paris and as you said, I'm french :P and I'll prefer go through the south of germany
