Will we be able to take our bicycles on all trains on the route from Budapest to London. If so, will we need to book and can you hep us do that?

Hi and welcome to railcc!
You can indeed travel with your bikes all the way from Budapest to London. In principle there are three legs of the journey:
Budapest - Munich: Travel with direct Railjet service > online booking of bicycle reservation is not possible!
Munich - Paris: Travel with ICE/TGV high speed trains > bikes can only be carried dismantled/folded in a bag!
Paris - London: Travel with Eurostar > contact Eurostar via eurodespatch_ at_eurostar.com
So...it is possible but booking will be a bit cumbersome. Do you want to make any intermediate stops along the way? You will have to make at least one overnight stop anyway, since you cant take bikes on the night train from Budapest to Munich (in fact it may be possible if you store them in a bag, but storing them in your compartment will be complicated).
How many travellers are in your group? When do you want to travel?

Thanks Flo. I\'m just trying t plan ahead for a cycle trip next summer.
I\'m afraid this looks difficult because we will not be able to dismantle the bikes for the Munich to Paris leg.
Is there another route which doesn\'t require us to dismantle or put in a bag?
We won\'t be in a hurry so it doesn\'t matter if it takes a bit longer and we have to make more stops or stay over night on the way.

OK so there\'s still plenty of time to get everything sorted out. :D
You can basically carry your bikes on most regional trains with much less hassle compared to high-speed trains, especially on international routes and when having to book online.
For instance it will be easier to travel within Germany with either an Intercity train (which unlike ICE trains convey bikes) or regional trains towards the French border (Karlsruhe, Offenburg), then cross the Rhine by bike and continue by TGV (some of which also convey bikes without having to pack them in a bag) from Strasbourg to Paris.
Also, there are some really nice stretches of bike routes along the way (for instance the Danube valley in Austria) so it might be interesting taking your time and doing some parts by bike. :)
