I\'ve read that there is a "Surcharge" on the ferries from Patras to Italy. However, it doesn\'t tell me the base price of the ferry? Is it free so I only pay the surcharge of 10 Euros or I pay something like 30 Euros?
Thanks for your answers!

Hi and welcome to railcc!
With your Interrail pass you get a deck passage on the ferries for free. This means that you can spend the whole trip on the regular decks (inside and outside) and find a place to sleep somewhere.
What you have to pay are fuel and port taxes and a seasonal surcharge. In high season, this will be about 30€. If you want to sleep in a reclining seat or a cabin, you also have to pay for this.

Support our work and buy your official Interrail pass via our partner link - thank you. Until the end of August you can get a 5% discount: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/interrail-discount/[/ux]

Thanks, I was getting worried! When I checked the "Superfast" site, it showed me another connection from Patras to Venice, which isn\'t shown on the Interrail ferry lines. It\'s amazing that such a line exists but I think, if the Patras-Venice line isn\'t listed here, that means it isn\'t included in the Interrail Pass (sleep on the deck thingy)? Thank you so much again!

Sure, you can also travel from Venice using your Interrail pass. The price for a deck passage will be 37€ - I just checked for the departure on August 23. :)
