Hi! My family and I are traveling to Copenhagen in June and we would like to take the train from the Copenhagen international airport to Falkenberg where we have family. Are there any direct trains from the airport to Falkenberg?

Hi and welcome to railcc!
Yes, there are hourly direct train from Copenhagen Airport Kastrup to Falkenberg. These are so called "Oresund trains": [ux]https://rail.cc/en/train-type/oresundstag/70[/ux]
You can buy tickets locally at the station or online at [ux]https://rail.shop/sj[/ux] and [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/sj[/ux]

Hi Flo!
Thank you for your reply. Just our of curiosity we arrive in Copenhagen airport on Sunday June 18th and I was unable to find any direct trains they all require 2 transfers. Is this because it is Sunday and not a weekday? Do you suggest we buy tickets in advance or will we be fine purchasing them when we arrive to the airport?

It seems as there is a replacement bus service in operation on that date. Interestingly, this isnt mentioned either on the Oresundtag website [ux]http://www.oresundstag.se/trafikinformation/[/ux] neither in the official timetable [ux]http://tagtidtabeller.resrobot.se/tidtabell/tag100_9730.pdf[/ux]
You can buy tickets locally - tickets are without seat reservation so trains will not sell out/be fully booked. It will be a bit cheaper though if you buy in advance.

Does that mean there are no trains operating on that day? So a bus will shuttle the passengers instead of the train?

If you look at the details of a connection (just click on the connection) you will see that the changes are a result of a replacement bus in operation between Helsingborg and Ängelholm.
This means: train Copenhagen Airport - Helsingborg; bus Helsingborg - Ängelholm; train Ängelholm - Falkenberg
